The mountains are calling so we must go~

We began those adventures back in 2014, not at Morning Vue, but in a tiny apartment in the town of Rifle where Michael had lived for over 20 years. I came out for my first visit with Michael in September of that year, my first airplane flight since the tragedy of September 11th, with a small "point and shoot" camera and a fear of heights! Little did we know what that first trip would lead to!! As I add to this website it is now hanging over the edge of 2023, we've moved 3 years ago into this treasure of a house on the hill, we have 2 bathrooms now, a cat, a yard, I have 2 "far beyond point and shoot" cameras, tripods, accessories, editing software, and a laptop that stays at Morning Vue so I don't have to lug it back and forth on the airplane when I fly. Michael already had all that stuff after so many years of photographing, although he uses Canon equipment and I am a Nikon nut. He likes to shoot very planned and set up,"waiting patiently photos," many at night, and I am more spontaneous and enjoy the quick shooting "hang out the Jeep window" type of photography. Together our adventures often cover it all!

I'll try to highlight each adventure we've taken together as time allows and each time add more photos of those that we've both taken. Some were more exciting than others (especially the ones of our medical issues and surgeries!)  Please enjoy the photos of our my first trip west and Michael's photos taken while he tried to show me all his favorite places in a short week!
